I didn't say Biden had a pregnant grand-daugther, I said IF. I was making a point about double standards for Democrats and Republicans. It works both ways. As for who has an unwed grand-daugther that just gave birth, that would be Sarah and Todd Palin's fathers and Bristol's grandfathers.

I have lived in Europe for most of the last 30 years - having been employed by my Uncle (Sam). EVERY COUNTRY in Europe has better roads and bridges than we do here in the U.S.A. This is because they have HUGE gas taxes. It has also made thein car comanies provide them with fuel efficient auto's and their car compnies kept their manufacturing base in their homeland, their workers employed and still expanded outward to the U.S. and elsewhere. Along with single payer, government regulatedl, outstanding healthcare this has made the car companies competitive. So, basically, everything which we as a nation have been against has made Europe stronger - INCLUDING TAXES ON GAS ! ! ! !
